Unless you have a CCW all firearms must be unloaded and in a lock container. Unloaded means no round in the firearm, the chamber must be empty and no loaded mag inserted in the firearm. Loaded mags and ammunition can be in the same container and must be locked. A trunk is considered a lock case, or a backpack with the firearm locked inside. A hatchback, glove box and center console is not considered a lock container. AK's and AR's must have a bullet button or be featureless, with out the evil features ( collapsible stock, flash hider and pistol grip.) Featureless builds you can use standard capacity magazines without the bullet button. If you have a bullet button you may only use 10 round mags unless you are LEO.
